Inspiration to Root on the Blackhawks this Postseason

When it comes to the world during this time we all need some inspirations. And with the NHL playoffs starting up within the next month I say we look to our own Chicago Blackhawks for inspiration.

With so much separation in the world today, all of us from the Chicago area can come together and root on our Hawks even if they only have a slim chance at a Stanley Cup championship.

Also with the Bulls season already over and the uncertainty of baseball in a 60 game season, this might be the only Chicago playoff sport we see this year. We need to all come together as one and really show our Blackhawks the support they need to make a run, even though we probably can’t do that by cheering them on at the United Center.

I know some of you are thinking, “they’ve got no chance, they barely even made the playoffs.” Well that is true, they were the last team in. Not many teams have the championship experience that the Hawks possess. With Kane and Toews still in red and black they have a chance against any team in the NHL in my opinion and I wouldn’t be surprised to see them pull off an upset or two.

Also we have to remember that the NHL playoffs are known for having huge upsets, so it’s not as out there as other sports such as basketball. In hockey teams can get hot no matter their record so let’s not count them out so fast.

At the end of the day let’s all come together and cheer on our Hawks, as it might be the only meaningful sports we see for the year.
